50WEAPONS proudly presents the launch of a new sub-series. Who hasn’t yet heard about Thom Yorke’s collaboration with Flea (Red Hot Chilli Peppers) and Nigel Godrich? Rumors say that an Atoms For Peace album will be released towards the end of this year and several clips of Thom playing tunes from it are to be found all over youtube, but who knows… On 50WEAPONSXTR01 we see Atoms For Peace remixing themselves and Bon Iver + Radiohead US tour support Other Lives. The band Other Lives, 4 guys and 1 girl from Stillwater (Oklahoma), are compared with Godspeed You! Black Emperor and Sigur Rós. Their second album “Tamer Animals” was released in May of last year.
