This colorful, vibrant remix of »Running« comes from Berlin’s finest duo Âme. It is a masterfully crafted piece which doesn’t shy away from working the original’s vocals into the multi-faceted dancefloor shell, but instead confidently drops them in the middle of the track. The carefully constructed layers cannily chisel a badass bassline between the trippy mantle of euphoric brassy synths, chopped vocal bits, melancholic pads and shuffling hihats. The tight arrangement and the growling dark bass counterfeit any notion of cheesy, that sometimes derives from using vocals in house music.
