Gajek returns with new album “Very Light Means Less Control”

Gajeks 3rd album on Monkeytown Records is scheduled for release on the 12th of March and will be available digitally, as well as on vinyl (limited edition of 100 copies, only available via the Monkeytown Records Webshop and Bandcamp Page). On his new record, Berlin based experimental artist Gajek explores a more immediate emotional approach than ever before. Still firmly rooted in the artist’s ongoing fascination and reinterpretation of Krautrock aesthetics, “Very Light Means Less Control” dives headfirst into contemporary synthesizer music.

As a special bonus Modeselektor contributed a continuous mix of the album slightly re-arranging the album’s tracks and blending them into each other, creating an alternative and uninterrupted listening experience of Gajek’s latest work.

Online-Magazine XLR8R calls Gajek “one of experimental music’s brightest talents”, read their studio feature with him HERE.
